Hi, I’m Marios Tsopouridis, an adaptable IT engineer with a background in the maritime industry and a practical approach to solving technical problems across networks, systems, and infrastructure.
I hold a degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from TESYD, and I’ve worked across a variety of environments, including Linux and Windows platforms. My focus is on building and maintaining secure, reliable systems, with a strong interest in network traffic analysis and log investigation.
A significant part of my career has been spent in the forex trading sector, where I was responsible for overseeing cybersecurity operations. This involved protecting sensitive systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and securing high-availability infrastructure in a fast-paced and security-critical environment.
I’m also the director and owner of TsopTech Digital Solutions, a digital solutions company providing services in IT Support and Infrastructure, Cybersecurity & Training, Website Development & Design, Hosting, and more.
Outside of traditional IT work, I enjoy hands-on projects that combine software with hardware—building and automating devices using Arduino (C++) and Raspberry Pi (Python) to solve real-world problems in creative ways.
